A history dating
way back to 2012
In 2012 three friends, united by the shared passion for craft beer, decided to open one of the very first craft pubs in Florence
We are Archea: an independent craft pub opened in 2012.
We serve, under the Archea brand, beers produced according to our recipes, and also an ever-changing and varied selection on other 12 taps, the result of our travels and our passion.
Our bottle list includes about a hundred labels from different vintages.
Since day 1 our project rests on three pillars:
All the beers we serve are rigorously craft, so it has always been and always will be.
We give priority to Italian and Tuscan breweries, not out of localism (okay, maybe a little bit) but because we believe, for real, that Italian Craft Beer is absolutely fantastic.
The vast majority of beers served in our pub do not go through intermediaries, we go and get them straight from the breweries.
We have nothing against distributors, but we want to make sure that on the way from the brewery to your pint the beers are pampered as they deserve, to respect the brewers' work, your palate and your wallet.

Great place, great staff and great music! Nice selection of beer and the staff is very friendly and happy to help and explain everything. Wish we could have discovered it earlier and not on our last day in Florence. Totally recommended!

Fun little beer bar in Santo Spirito, we ended up coming here twice. Friendly bartender who knew his products and was great at giving advice. Nice mix of locals and travellers. Excellent beer list, both on tap and bottles. I felt at home here.
